Network Engineering Live Training & Industry Internship

This 3-month Networking Training & Internship Program combines 2 months (8 weeks) of structured, hands-on training with 1 month of practical internship experience. The training phase progresses through three stages: Weeks 1–3 cover networking fundamentals, the OSI/TCP-IP models, Ethernet, ARP, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, subnetting, VLANs, trunking, and Spanning Tree Protocol. Weeks 4–6 build on this with static and dynamic routing (OSPF), inter-VLAN routing, HSRP, DHCP, DNS, NAT/PAT, and secure wireless network design. Weeks 7–8 focus on network security, ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, monitoring, and a full troubleshooting methodology, capped by an enterprise network design project. In the final month, interns apply everything learned to real or simulated network tasks configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting under supervision, gaining practical, portfolio-ready experience. By the end of the program, participants are able to independently design, implement, secure, and troubleshoot a complete enterprise-level network from requirements through documentation

Before you start

Eligibility / Prerequisites Basic computer literacy (comfortable using Windows/Linux OS) No prior networking experience required — beginner-friendly start Basic understanding of computer hardware is a plus, not mandatory Tools & Software Cisco Packet Tracer (primary lab simulation tool) Access to a laptop/PC capable of running simulation software Stable internet connection for research, assignments, and virtual sessions Optional (Month 3 / advanced): GNS3 or EVE-NG for more realistic hardware/IOS simulation Time Commitment Full-time or structured part-time availability for 8 weeks of training + 4 weeks of internship Willingness to complete weekly theory assignments, guided labs, and independent challenges Skills Expected by End of Training (Before Internship) Comfortable with IPv4/IPv6 addressing and subnetting Able to configure switches, routers, VLANs, and basic routing (static + OSPF) Understanding of core services (DHCP, DNS, NAT) and basic security (ACLs, firewalls, port security) Familiarity with troubleshooting methodology and command-line verification (Cisco IOS, Windows/Linux networking commands) Internship Phase Requirements Ability to work on assigned network design/configuration/troubleshooting tasks under supervision Documentation of work performed (configs, diagrams, issue resolution) Regular check-ins/reporting on task progress
